This song is about a magical place where orchards meet the ocean and the feeling of needing to get away to forget about life's troubles. We wrote this song together and it is the first one we have recoded completely from our home studio! Just the two of us on the recording, and a dash of technological magic. Hope it can transport you too!

Ocean Song

North Woods

This song is very dear to us. A peaceful journey to the shore, it talks about how the ocean can heal us and our relationships and how it reflects life with its ebbs and flows. Sherry and I have been wanting to record this song for years as it has always been one of our favorites. It was written with our dear friend Fonda Mangino and was a fun writing experiment. We started with the chords which we thought evoked the ocean, then separately wrote what we thought went with the music. We discovered when we came back together that the song sounded beautiful with the three parts melded together. Hope you enjoy.

Holloway

North Woods

This song is inspired by Holloways, roads that are so ancient and were so traversed by people, animals and the elements over the ages that they are sunken down into the ground. Many are covered over by greenery creating a tunnel-like effect.
